Jean-Paul Rouve, born in 1967 in Dunkirk, began his artistic career after training at the Cours Florent as part of the comedy troupe Les Robins des Bois. For his performance in *Monsieur Batignole* (2002), he was awarded the César for Most Promising Actor. He demonstrates his versatility as an actor in various genres, from the successful comedy series *Les Tuche* (since 2011) to films like *Le Sens de la fête* (2017), for which he received another César nomination. In addition to his work in front of the camera, Rouve is also active as a director, having made films such as *Quand je serai petit* (2012) and *Les Souvenirs* (2014).
