The Spanish actor Marta Nieto, born in Murcia in 1982, has established herself internationally through her multi-layered performances. A turning point in her career was the collaboration with director Rodrigo Sorogoyen on the short film *Madre* (2017) and its feature-length adaptation of the same name (2019). For her intense performance as a mother, she received the Best Actress award in the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival. This role also earned her nominations for the Goya and the European Film Awards. She further demonstrated her acting range in works like the thriller *Out of Sync* (*Tres*, 2021).
