In this Singaporean-Thai drama, a disillusioned architect embarks with an elephant on a journey home to his childhood village. Architect Thana (Thaneth Warakulnukroh) was once celebrated for his ideas, but has since had to give way to the talent of a younger generation. His marriage to his wife Bo (Penpak Sirikul) is also not going well. But an unexpected meeting on the streets of Bangkok brings Thana out of his low mood. Here he meets the elephant Popeye again, with whom he once spent his childhood. Thana decisively buys the animal, which is presented as an attraction, free from its owner and decides to start a journey to his home village in the Thai province of Isan together with the pachyderm. The road trip together changes his view of his own life and thus also becomes a journey of self-knowledge.
