Both idolized and controversial, Folon is still recognized today as one of the most influential Belgian artists of the second half of the 20th century. In this film, the first documentary ever made on Folon, the artist himself is able to tell his own story through previously unseen archival footage. A carefree poet and sometimes misunderstood artist, Fo- lon was nevertheless an incredibly ambitious visionary. In his interviews, he shows us his vision of art and the world, the tragedies in his life, and his unquenchable thirst for new encounters and experiences.
