After her boyfriend has a psychotic episode and disappears, Maria embarks on a frantic 24-hour odyssey through the streets of Vilnius. Maria's boyfriend Vytas, a brilliant PhD student, had previously been hospitalized for bipolar disorder. After a violent outburst, he goes missing. With patience, love, and the help of various friends, relatives, and strangers, she goes searching for clues throughout the city.
