During the Syrian war, the two young Tunisian women Zina and Djo were sex slaves of the jihadists. Back in their home country, they are outcasts from society.
Immediately after returning home, Zina and Djo are imprisoned and Zina's two-year-old child is taken away from her. When Djo learns she is pregnant, she stubbornly keeps quiet, but describes the horrors she faced in Syria in a novel.
To help the two on their hard and lengthy journey back to life, human rights lawyer Nadia and doctor Dora join forces with Driss, a young homosexual who is socially ostracized.
