Under Electric Clouds

At the center of the film is an unfinished building shell that towers over everything like the skeleton of a Leviathan. The architect died before completion and the protagonists, including his children, are in disagreement about the future of the building. Director Alexey German Jr, son of the late filmmaker Alexey German, drew inspiration from the epic Russian novels. "The different points of view are just different angles on the same subject. By essaying the many complex and varied walks of life in Russia, German perfectly captures the whole by focusing on the parts." (Popoptiq)
